We've been asked several questions, so here's the FAQ section:

Are you packed?
- At this point yes we are finally packed!

Are you excited?
- Yes we are very excited, also nervous, anxious, slightly overwhelmed, and amazed that this is our adventure and new reality.

Do you know German?
- No, Amy took German in high school and we're hoping to pick it up when we get there. We have a few apps we've downloaded, but you know how that goes...

Do you have a place to live?
- We have an appointment on Friday 11/16 to look at apartments, fingers crossed we'll find a two-bedroom, furnished apartment! Stay tuned, I'm sure there will be an update. :)

How big is Dusseldorf?
The population is around 612,000.

What will Amy be doing?
- Who knows, she has some leads on jobs but is waiting to see what's around. The possibilities include teaching English, being a "Conversationalist", working at a floral shop, finding a job at the international schools, working at coffee shop, or being a prep chef.

Do you have a list of places to go?
- Definitely! Some of our musts include celebrating New Years in Prague, visiting Rome, Croatia, Poland, Ireland, Spain, scuba diving in Greece or Italy (or both), skiing in the Alps, seeing a Broadway play in London and several more... the list keeps growing!
