Happy Thanksgiving!

We made it through our first holiday away! It was bittersweet being far away from family and friends but we made the most of the day. I waited anxiously all day to watch the Macy's day parade to have a small taste of Thanksgiving. The parade finally started at 3:00pm and thanks to YouTube I was able to live stream and enjoy the show. I think it was the first time I actually saw the full parade beginning to end. :) Instead of watching the infamous dog show after the parade, Jeff and I went to dinner. To celebrate our Thanksgiving dinner, we found an Irish Pub that had the American football games on. We enjoyed nachos, delicious garlic bread, and a chicken sandwich which included a Thanksgiving moistmaker (Friends fans will get that one! ). It wasn't your traditional Thanksgiving dinner but it was one we'll never forget.

Today we are thankful for the opportunity to be in this new country, immersed in a new culture, learning more about ourselves and growing closer together as a couple. We are so thankful for our incredible family and friends who have supported us from the very beginning of this crazy adventure and who continue to support us through this new chapter of our lives. We're thankful for fall days, the shining sun, American football, cute Christmas markets, and the opportunity to live this life to the fullest!
