We spent our last week in Düsseldorf soaking in the city, supporting our favorite restaurants, and saying goodbye to friends. It's hard to leave, but let's not get into that now... that's for a different post! We started the weekend off with another trip to the tulip field, which was even more colorful than the weekend before!
We stopped by our favorite coffee shop and strolled down Königsallee and over to Altstadt for one final farewell. We picked up a couple treats at the local bakery and enjoyed those while watching the ships float along the Rhine.
We took another walk through the Hofgarten and over to the Rheinpark. We stopped to check on the ducklings and two black swan cygnets.
We enjoyed Ramen and boba tea, XoXo Buddha Bowls, Italian pasta, Döner kebabs, and schnitzel from Schwan.
And of course, we had to stop for one last ice cream at our favorite shop! Mango and himbeere (aka raspberry) sorbet for Amy and Spaghetti Eis for Jeff! It was a bittersweet week and weekend of goodbyes, but that just means we've enjoyed our time here!
