And we’re off! 3 months, 5 continents, 15 countries, too many cities to count, and so many memories waiting to be made! We can’t believe our “world sampler” is starting and we can’t wait for what’s to come! I’m not sure how many times we’ve asked each other and others, “Are we crazy?!” The answer may be “Yes, at least a little” but the experience and memories will be incredible!
There are so many feelings before a big trip. We’re definitely feeling excited about what’s to come and what memories we’ll make. Anticipation about everything going okay and hoping we don’t exhaust ourselves half way through. Disbelief that this is real life. A few nerves, mostly about accidentally encountering Montezuma's revenge… A little sadness that with every beginning there is also an end and we don’t want that to come! But mostly, I think we’re just so grateful to have the opportunity to do one of our favorite things together - Travel! It’s something we both love, it refreshes us, reminds us to stay young, and bonds us together a little more every time we do it. I can’t wait to look back at this trip, soak in the memories, and discover how it changed us. It’s going to be a wild ride in more ways than we can imagine! Bring on the adventure!
